Board Member Chris Highton

Overview

I joined Eildon Board in February 2019.

I am a director and vice-chairman of Allied Surveyors Scotland, a national firm of Chartered Surveyors. I am also a director of Onesurvey Ltd, a web-based delivery platform for the provision of Home Reports.

I am a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, having qualified in 1994, and I sat on the RICS Residential Property Professional Group Board for 14 years. I originally qualified as an Architectural Technician and also spent some time as a Local Authority Building Control Officer. I was also NHBCs Building Surveyor for Scotland, running their Conversion and Renovation Warranty Scheme and their Home Energy Rating service.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, also following cricket and rugby. I used to play principal tuba with Whitburn Band and now continue to play locally at Selkirk Silver Band.
