Building and Construction Industry Forum (BCIF)

Eildon is a key sponsor of the Building and Construction Industry Forum (BCIF). The staff, who are employed by Eildon, operate out of Eildon's offices in Selkirk.

 

The Forum acts as a focal point to promote the construction industry across the South of Scotland and concentrates on the following main areas of activity:

• Project information
• Procurement
• Training and development
• Awareness raising and recruitment

This Forum was the first of its kind in Scotland and works with all sectors of the building industry to make it more competitive and capable of responding to the volume of work anticipated across the South of Scotland.

Eildon will continue to work closely with BCIF and help it to export its knowledge to other areas of Scotland.
