Planned or Cyclical Maintenance is defined as those works which are carried out on a planned and regular basis.
The Association's objectives for its Cyclical Maintenance Programme are as follows:
- to carry out preventative maintenance works to avoid the gradual deterioration of building components or finishes within its housing/buildings stock.
- to carry out works to enable compliance with statutory requirements relating to equipment and/or systems installed in its housing stock, offices and commercial buildings.
- to carry out works to enable compliance with good practice and equipment manufacturer recommendations in systems/equipment installed in the Association's housing stock, offices and commercial buildings.
- to carry out works providing a service to tenants for which they have paid a service charge.
